All client-side events that are triggered by the mouse (clicking or hovering elements) are simulated in the replay. This means that you should be able to see more or less the same client-side events as the user. Browsers react differently to these event simulations so we cannot guarantee that all events are replayed perfectly.

We support almost all AJAX calls - however there are a few extra steps you need to take in order to make them available in playback:
You must follow the best practices for AJAX support as outlined below.

Please note that some AJAX calls can be very tricky to replay so we can't guarantee that all types of calls will work. If you are experiencing issues with AJAX on your site, please contact our support staff - we are usually able to find a workaround. In the worst case scenario we have a 30 day money back guarantee, so if you're not satisfied, you'll get your money back.

Gurulytics works by inserting a single JavaScript line of code in your website. This script (which is around 14 KB big) sends small periodic and highly compressed data packages (around 2KB) from the client to our platform while a visitor session is active.

Data from the whole user experience is recorded, not just a snapshot of the session. This means that the web analytics are far more precise than traditional web analytics tools and that you can get insights on how the users interact with the pages before moving on to the next.
You can cancel your account at any time through the control panel. All recordings and analysis data is deleted from our servers, and all payments will immediately stop.

First time users download a JavaScript file of about 14 KB (zipped), and a beacon of 2 KB is sent from the browser to Gurulytics every 5-10 seconds, depending on the visitor behavior.

Our JavaScript file is loaded asynchronously from our CDN (look for Gurulytics ). This means that the JavaScript file is loaded without blocking the browser thread. Our CDN has edges all over the world, minimizing load time. The beacon is called after the HTML document is fully loaded, so this is also asynchronous and doesn't count in your total page load time.

This is unnoticeable for over 99% of the visitors. Some IE6 users on slow machines might feel a difference in the browsing speed.
Information about the browser (type, version, screen size, etc.), basic information about the user (IP address, language, time zone) and data containing mouse movements, clicks, scroll events and keystrokes are sent to Gurulytics . No personal data is sent, and no data is ever shared between websites. The script does not use third-party cookies. No data is shared with third parties, except for highly summarized data gathered across all Gurulytics accounts, e.g. usage share of browsers, average screen size, etc. Keystrokes from password fields and fields marked as “sensitive” are never recorded or sent over the network.

If your local legislation requires that you don’t save complete IP addresses, you can anonymize all IP addresses by adjusting a setting in the control panel.

Gurulytics requires that you make you users aware that some visitor sessions are Gurulytics , and Gurulytics prohibits using the service for recording personal or financial information.
